Being a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor, Writer and Workshop Leader, I continue my search for self exploration and spiritual meaning in both everyday life, connections with others, and in my adventures both solo and in shared group experience. My journey takes me into the world of nature, urban landscapes and into people’s life stories.

My passion is to help people find answers to life’s questions or problems.  I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Spiritual Direction, Positive Psychology and Energy Psychology to facilitate change and to promote success. I also incorporate Mindfulness, Qi-Qong, Meditation and Naikan (Japanese method for self reflection) for those who like to venture “out of the box”.

Other areas I specialize in are Experiential Therapy, leading nature based workshops in some of the most beautiful places on earth and Creative Expression.

I have extensive experience facilitating individual, couples counseling, family and group therapy, for a variety of issues including, anxiety, depression, AODA,  life transitions, spiritual direction and career coaching.

I am also a Certified Laughing Yoga Leader, offering workshops and seminars on Intentional Laughter and Self Care for Mental Health Professionals and independent business organizations.
