Death Valley Dreaming

A couple of years ago I went on a hiking and camping trip to Death Valley.  Expecting barren desert, I was surprised to find and explore a waterfall, sand dunes and Badwater Basin.

I’m currently stuck in central Wisconsin, buried underneath a mountain of cold, wet snow, dreaming about being back in Death Valley with the warmth of the sun, the dryness of the desert air, and the peace and silence that the only the desert embodies.

The above picture was a mindful moment at Ubehebe Crater.
