Smiling is our nonverbal way of saying hello, sending out love and kindness, and it also can transform anger and negativity.
Today, set an intention to smile at as many people as you can or simply smile at one person. If they don’t smile back, then believe that you contributed to their overall wellness and recognize that if they can’t smile back, they are surely in need of some kindness. Often times it’s the people who can’t smile, are the ones who need it the most.
Smiles break down barriers of all types, language, ethnicity, gender, you name it. I even smile at my cat and he smiles back making me feel warm and fuzzy on the inside.
